Memoir Mastermind (A Feedback-Focused Cohort)
Payment plan available here.
Does it feel like you’re working on your writing in a vacuum and you can no longer tell what is resonating with readers? Or maybe you’re writing project is at a standstill because you have no deadlines and accountability. The manuscript mastermind is a feedback-focused mastermind limited to a small group of writers who are ready to finally take their writing to the next level.
Here’s how it works: Whether you’re writing short pieces or a book-length work, you’ll finally get the deadlines and reader feedback you’ve been longing for. We’ll meet twice a month for 5 months, and each writer will get workshopped each time. There will be no craft talks, rather, the focus is on your work. In each workshop, you’ll read your work aloud to the group and get on-the-spot feedback from the group and Nadine. You can workshop a new piece each time (10 pieces total) or you can alternate between workshopping a fresh piece then workshopping the revisions of that piece. A minimum of 20 min are dedicated solely to you in each workshop. You can use them as you wish. Unlike other workshops, you won’t have stacks of reading to comment on for homework, because you’ll give you peers on the spot feedback. This leaves you more time to focus on your own work outside of class.
Don’t let any more months to pass without making progress on your project. Finally get the feedback you need in order to finish and publish your work.
What you’ll get:
10 jam-packed workshops. We’ll meet for 3 hours (10-1:15 CT) via Zoom on Tuesdays, Jan 16, Jan 30, Feb 13, Feb 27, Mar 12, Mar 26, April 9, April 23, May 7, & May 21.
A workshop of each of your pieces by a supportive community.
20 min dedicated solely to you each session.
Verbal feedback from Nadine on all the pieces you write!
Make this the year you achieve your writing dreams. The writers in Nadine’s community have published hundreds of pieces in places like The New York Times, Vogue, the Boston Globe, and more. 15 of Nadine’s writers have published their books in the last 3 years alone!
Schedule:
10-1:15 CT via Zoom on Tuesdays, Jan 16, Jan 30, Feb 13, Feb 27, Mar 12, Mar 26, April 9, April 23, May 7, & May 21.
