    • Accommodations off-site if you need to leave due to illness

  • Your accommodations determine your retreat costs.

  • Once you’ve registered, you will receive a confirmation email, and a few weeks before the retreat you will get another email helping your prep for your lovely getaway, including directions and packing information.

  • If you need to cancel your trip 60 days or more prior the retreat, you will receive full credit of what you paid applied towards a future retreat, to be used within 1.5 years of cancelation. You will not be refunded/credited if you cancel within the 60-day window. However, you can always sell or give your spot to someone else.

    Please do not attend the retreat if you are actively shielding against the COVID-19. If you or someone you’ve been in close contact with has tested positive for COVID 19 within 14 days of the retreat, please withdraw your registration.

    In the event of unexpected events such as natural disasters, pandemic surges and closures, etc., we will reschedule the retreat, and apply your funds to the rescheduled event. Rescheduling is the best option because of the time, care, and preparation that goes into each retreat. If we cannot reschedule, we will offer you a full refund and/or credit towards a future retreat. Please note that changes made to transportation and airfare are your responsibility. *For all of these reasons, purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended.

Meet your host and private chef

Retreat leader, Nadine Kenney Johnstone, is an award-winning author, writing coach, yoga nidra instructor, host of the Heart of the Story podcast, and creator of the soul-centered journaling technique. She received her MFA in creative writing and taught at universities for 15 years before launching WriteWELL—writing and wellness workshops and retreats for women. Ten of her authors have published their books in the last 2 years, and the others have published 150 pieces in places like the New Your Times, the Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and more.

Nadine’s husband–Johnson and Wales trained chef, Jamie Johnstone–makes all of the delicious, nourishing meals. The dishes feature local produce and a whole lot of love! They are typically gluten free and dairy free. Chef Jamie also accommodates dietary restrictions.
